最近は新しい音楽を追うというより、これまでにたくさん残っている“空白”を埋めるように、音楽の歴史を振り返って聴いていました。この時期によく聴いていたリリースは以下です（適当に並べました）。

① 240pでアップロードされたMVが本当に00年代に戻ったようで、感動しました。

② ロシアのバンド。今年は1曲しかリリースしていませんが、一番多く聴いていたバンドなので、今年のベストに入ります。

③ 2024年のリリースだと思いますが、アルバムを最初から最後まで聴くと、ベッドルームスクリーモとアコースティック録音の組み合わせがとても好みです。

④ ウクライナのポップアーティスト。ふざけた雰囲気の曲が多く、ジャンルも多岐にわたっていて、こちらも今年のベストに入ります。

⑤ 今年の復活はうれしかったです。。

最初は恥ずかしくて、嘘をつこうかとも思いましたが、正直に書きます。

今年はいくつかの本を読み始めましたが、最後まで読み切れたものは一冊もないです。

内省しすぎていて、本を開いて同じ文章を何度読んでも、頭には何も残らず、途中で諦めてしまっていました。

最近は生活も少し落ち着いてきたので、来年また本を読めるようになればいいなと思っています。

今年セロミス関連で一番印象に残ってること

9月末の名古屋でライブ。わざわざ京都や大阪、果ては福岡から旅行ついでにとはいえ、観に来てくださった方がいて。それだけでなく、ちょうどアルバムをbandcampでリリースした翌週というタイミングにも関わらず我々の演奏でシンガロングしたりリフを口ずさんだり、MC中に茶々を入れてくれた駄目ヅマリさんやundermark／by the end of summerの小西君、また「自由への鍵」で猛烈なモッシュをかましてくれたRecluse／underscreenのふうがさん達の姿を見て、「うわ、マジで自分たちの音楽を楽しんでくれてるんだな」「今ここでこんな風に活動できてるのは、目の前にいる人たちのおかげだ」と、めちゃくちゃリアルに実感できた瞬間がありました。

今年のセロミスのライブの中から、2つ挙げたいと思います。

まずは名古屋でのライブです。温かい歓迎がとても感動的でした。最近はメンバーと過ごす時間があまり多くない分、ドライブ中やホテルなどで一緒に過ごした時間を大切にしています。


もう一つは Studio Zot でのライブです。長い間お世話になっいた場所で、以前からずっとライブをしたいと思っていました。ホーム感が強く、練習よりもやりやすい雰囲気で最高なライブでした。久恒さんには感謝してもしきれません。

いつものスタジオ練習中にメンバー皆でコンビニ前での休憩中の1コマ。いつかのライブか忘れたけどメンバーのセルに「この日のライブ出れる？」って聞いたらセルが「行けたら行きます」って飲み会かよ！ってツッコミ入れたくなる返答したとき（すみません…他にもっとあるはずですがコレでお願いします笑）

Huge thanks to everyone who has already picked up the album, to all the distros and shops carrying the CD, to everyone who listened to it, and to everyone who shared their thoughts on social media. We truly appreciate it.


As of December 24, the album is now available on streaming platforms. For most people, streaming is probably quickest and easiest way to check it, so if you haven't, please give it a listen.


If you listen to it in better quality, the album is still available on Bandcamp for streaming and digital purchase. You can download it in lossless formats, and for some reason it also sounds even better than Apple Music and such on streaming to our ears.

Also, as you already know, compared to Spotify and other GAFA-related services, Bandcamp feels significantly less evil, and unlike other major streaming services which pay us barely enough money to buy a bottle of water every month, it actually helps us financially (Thanks to everyone who pays for our music). So conclusion; Bandcamp is good. I personally use it a lot too.


And yes, we'll say it again; the CD rules. Especially this CD. Great sound quality, cheap shipping, includes Bandcamp download code, 16 tracks total (including 4 exclusive tracks and 1 alternate version), a 12 page booklet, and a sticker that's the perfect size for your phone case. In short; it's stacked.

The CD is listed on our Bandcamp merch page, but because of Bandcamp fees the shipping is set a bit higher there. If you're thinking about ordering some stuff, and don't mind messaging back and forth, we recommend you to just send us message (serotoninmist [at] gmail.com) so we can send you in the cheapest way possible without Bandcamp fees.

2025 is almost coming to an end. Looking back, this year felt like all about making this album. We played a lot of shows too.

Now that the album is finally out and settled, we've started writing new songs again, and we already have 2 new songs coming together that feel really strong. One song is really beautiful but also heavy kind of like our version of Julia or Breakwater, and another one is a straight MOSH banger. So please keep an eye on us.
